Welcome to HEY! Kernow (formerly KHEG)
HEY! Kernow (formerly Kerrier Home Education Group, KHEG) is based in West Cornwall, UK.
We usually meet weekly with activities for children aged 4+ although younger siblings are, of course, very welcome.
In addition to our regular meetings, we have sometimes have other regular activities organised for Home Educating families (such as Clip and Climb) as well as access to other things usually available to schools (e.g. Into Film Club, Royal Cornwall Museum, National Maritime Museum and one-off excursions).
The group has been running, from various locations, since 2013, supported by local families and a hardworking volunteer committee of parents. We are a not-for-profit group and, as such, any monies charged reflect the cost of running things – often the monies taken have to be topped up out of the committee members’ own pockets. We are currently looking into ways to become a registered entity to enable us to apply for funding.
