Welcome to HEY! Kernow’s website.
If you’re in Cornwall and are already Home Educating or thinking about Home Educating your children then you are in the right place.
Many things that schools access can also be accessed by individual families, others require small or large groups. We are a group guided by its members to access things that our families would like to access whilst also providing social opportunities and support to both existing Home Educating families and those considering taking the leap.

Regular Groups
Pre Covid, we ran a regular weekly group and had done in one form or another since 2013.
We have moved home a number of times, and changed our name once (formerly Kerrier Home Education Group – KHEG).
In September 2024 we started up again in our new home: The Perrenwell Centre
Other Activities
Currently, we are organising a range of short. courses for our members, to run alongside our regular group. These include: coding, photography, robotics, dance, maths, and science.
Regular Activities
Pre Covid we also ran regular activities, usually at a reduced rate, in conjunction with local businesses, such as Clip and Climb which ran fortnightly in term time at Gwel an Mor.
We haven’t yet restarted any regular activities, though new arrangements are being discussed.
Educational Visits
We have a longstanding relationship with local places, including the Royal Cornwall Museum and the National Maritime Museum, which has enabled us to organise educational workshops similar to those accessed by schools.
